Some good advice

This is a compilation of good advice from people I admire, gathered across many of the essays and blogs I have been inspired by.

  1. “The people who make real change in the world are those who live on the knife edge between optimism (everything is really going to be okay) and pessimism (but everything is bad by default).”
  2. Ask why every time with something that works or not.
  3. Actions speak louder than words.
  4. Reach out first.
  5. If you're only asking for things you get, you're not aiming high enough.
  6. Compound yourself.
  7. Assume everything is learnable.
  8. You can ask yourself every time if you can do it x10 better and most of the times it is correct.
